Day 7..otherwise known as 'How do you like them apples?'

I've always been slightly obsessed by this shade of red. Cherry red. Fire engine red. Toffee apple red.

So I kinda lost myself for a couple of hours.

Eating a Starking Red Delicious has never been more fun.

Day...er...six?

Two important ladies in my life....
Zoe. Soaking up the morning sun.

Me mum. Soaking up the morning sun.

John Mayer, whom I do not even really like as a musician and always thought a bit opinionated, wrote this on his blog today.

Stop acting careless. In fact, care more. Be vulnerable but
stay away from where it hurts. Read. See more shows. Of any kind. Rock shows,
art shows, boat shows. Create more art. Wear hoodies to dinner. Carry a notebook
and hand it to people when they passionately recommend something and ask them to
write it down for me.Root for others. Give more and expect the same in return,
but over time. Act nervous when I'm nervous, puzzled when I don't know what the
hell to do, and smile when it all goes my way. And never in any other order than
that.
I'm thinking he can't be that bad after all.
I'll have to give his music another try.

Day 3

Nothing like sitting on a concrete step baked by a rapidly setting sun. We ( the cat and I) contemplate the day and listen to the neighbours clattering in the kitchen. Even the taxi's doef-doef as it flies over the bridge isn't too terrible this evening.

Day 2

Another lazy, hazy day...queues at the bank were nicely balanced with more messing with paints and camera in the afternoon. I could get used to this.

The cute little posy was rescued from the school staff room. ;-)

Yikes!

It's been a while!

New promise to self....for the next three weeks I shall post at least one photo each day. I messed around with paints today....and then I took some pics of the mess.
Naturally.

“Hope, is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense regardless of how it turns out.”
